Preservation information ↓
The preservation process
Preservation is a slow art, the whole process takes 4-5 months to complete

1. Preservation →
Your flowers are pressed one by one, some petal by petal in a wooden press.
Papers are changed daily to make sure they don't mold. It can take up to 8 weeks for your flowers to fully dry.

2. Design →
After your flowers are dry, they are reconstructed and hand painted.
Our goal is to enhance the natural colors and dimensions of each flower, making them look fresh, not like we just slapped paint on them.
Melissa will then send you designs to choose from. After you have approved a design your piece is glued down.

3. framing & Final Touches
Your piece is framed in our artisan frames. The wood is hand selected by Melissa and hand crafted by her husband, Brent.
Your art is secured with conservation glass, which blocks 99% of UV rays to help protect and preserve your flowers for years to come.
We carefully pack your art piece to arrive safe and sound to your home.
